Native Gardenia (Randia Fitzalani)

Just wondering, does anyone know the best product for fertilising Native Gardenia’s, or if they should be fertilised at all? I know traditional Gardenia’s are relative big feeders, but with being a native I’m concerned over feeding could cause more harm than good.

Hi Anthony, I have one of them, grown from a deedling. It is a painfully slow grower. It likes it's soil slightly acid and I was adviced not to fertilise too much, just water well. I feed mine with liquid Fish&Kelp, half strenght, once a month. If anybody knows how to make it grow faster, please let us know :-)
