New growth in mango yellow

Hi guys I need some help with my mango.

It’s had a shoot of new growth but it’s stayed very yellow and is now all floppy...

I noticed that it was staying yellow a couple weeks ago so I gave it some powerfeed even though I know it’s winter and not really growing season.

It did nothing so I’ve put it out today to get a bit of sun to see if that would help but it only got more floppy. I’m in Adelaide so I’ve got it in the greenhouse until the weather warms up usually.

The rest of the plant is healthy, a deep green and strong. Should I cut off this new growth? I’m nervous to do so as Ive lost a few doing this though that was in summer trying to cut back dying wood.
