Sandpaper Fig

    2 responses

Just over a year ago, I bought 4 Sandpaper Fig seedlings. I gave one away and the other 3 have grown into beautiful lush trees over 5 feet tall. I would like to know if these trees need cross pollination though as only one of them has Figs all over it.

I have a single tree and there are none others in the neighbourhood. It bears heavily with good quality fruits. Hopefully you have some fig wasps around. Maybe your non flowering plant will produce well in due course as it is still young.

Thanks Denise1. The one that is fruiting was standing alone. Maybe that one has fig wasps. I have just moved the other two to either side of it. I thought maybe if there was fig wasps in the one fruiting, they might jump trees and pollinate the other 2. Lol.
