ringelstrumpf starts with ... Come spring I must go to a shopping excursion in Sydney. There are so many seeds and plant parts to be found in Asian and overseas shops! For example I'm searching for chufa or tigernut. Were should I begin? Penrith, Blacktown were are all these Asian, African or South American shops??? John Mc says... I had a great day in a place called Cabramatta. I really thought I was in a street in downtown Asia, remarkable. when I was there a few months ago, fruits in season included Pinks mammoth custard apples, Santols, Amberellas, different varieties of Dragon fruit amongst other very interesting stuff for sale on the day. I bought a Durian just to try it for the first time. I will force myself to buy another one, I'm sure I will eventually like it. While there, I visited an excellent fruit tree nursery at Canley Vale, not far from Cabramatta. | About the Author JohnMc1 19th July 2011 8:10pm #UserID: 2743 Posts: 2043 View All JohnMc1's Edible Fruit Trees |

Jason says... Other than Santols and Amberellas, those fruit are available in the local Woolworths most of the time, Is that not normal?. I feel the same way about Durian, I buy them once in a while believing I'll love them sooner or later since in theory it has so much promise... but it hasn't happened for me yet | About the Author Jason Portland 19th July 2011 11:03pm #UserID: 637 Posts: 1217 View All Jason's Edible Fruit Trees |
