sternus1 says... Yep, can do. They were labelled sur-prise, I guess the owner didn't know the correct spelling (sir prize). They appear to be legit, the purple flushing into green, size and shape are unusual.Definitely not fuerte or shepherd anyway. They were cheap (2 dollars each) but the one I just cut for the pic was watery, probably picked too early.

Markmelb says... They look huge Sternus unless you have real small hands - LOL - Sunfresh- will google - I ate some early fallen lamb hass and bacon that were bench ripened for a couple weeks that were a bit watery so maybe they havnt worked out when to correctly pick the also do you really believe you have a dwarf rootstock Avo? Unless its Wurtz rootstock? My Wurtz is 3.5mt tall in its 500mm pot - 16 months from seedling - Mark | About the Author Markmelb , 4th April 2014 9:11pm #UserID: 7785 Posts: 1192 View All Markmelb's Edible Fruit Trees |

Markmelb says... I read an article about the guy that patented Sir Prize and seems like a smallish Avo variety (Dwarf or Semi-Dwarf) as he was crawling under his small plant oneday and got hit on the head by this massive single Avo growing on this plant that he didnt see - he said that it seemed quite different from any other so he went about patenting rights - so wonder if it is now in Australia - if so it would be worth adding to my collection?? | About the Author Markmelb , 5th April 2014 11:57am #UserID: 7785 Posts: 1192 View All Markmelb's Edible Fruit Trees |
