Tree surrounds

Wayne starts with ...
Now that I have time to spare I decided to obtain some surrounds from the local hardware store but balked at the asking price of $10 per lineal meter. I had some fence palings spare so bought a roll of hoop iron strapping and some 5/8" by 6 gauge screws, I cut the palings to length, screwed the strapping to the back of them and wrapped them around the trees. And all for less than $2 per meter.
The beauty of these are that you can make them to any size and shape you want as well as for sloping ground.
