Paddy says... If you wanna use an organic pesticide then look for Eco-Neem or Natrasoap in Bunnings or your local garden centre/retail nursery. But if it's a heavy infestation, you ptobably need a chemical pesticide like Confidor, this will control wooly aphid but you need to make sure that you wash apples really well before eating. | About the Author Patti1 Hervey Bay,QLD 20th August 2010 6:14pm #UserID: 4089 Posts: 7 View All Patti1's Edible Fruit Trees |

andi says... I was a professional nurseryman in grafton and we used a week solution of canola oil and soap in the early morning to smother the insects. Do not use use this method if the days are really hot as some burning will occurr. Oil clogs their pores and prevents respiration. Unfortunately it can have the same affect on the leaves of trees so use it sparingly no more than once a season. | About the Author andi 10th October 2011 3:46pm #UserID: 5947 Posts: 1 View All andi's Edible Fruit Trees |
