denise1 says... On rare occasion a plant is sent out from any nursery that hasnt been sufficiently hardened off after growing in the greenhouse. I am not saying that it is what is the matter with your plant but it could be. With plants that may be rare, expensive or in a hot season or climate, it is just as well to put all new plants you buy in a semishade corner that is not humid to acclimatise, for maybe a few weeks before planting. I usually put some frostcloth over new planted trees pegged on to some wire hoops or similar. It costs very little and works well. | About the Author denise1 auckland NZ 18th November 2014 10:47am #UserID: 6832 Posts: 688 View All denise1's Edible Fruit Trees |
