Kath says... Trees need moderate applications of nutrients, too much will result in excessive leaf growth at the expense of fruit yield and quality. Tress do well with 1-2 applications of a general fertilizer with micronutrients at the beginning and midway through the growing season. Applications of bonemeal are beneficial.
