Can anyone Identify this tree
We purchased it many years ago from a nursery as a fruit tree
Most people tell me it isn't a fruit tree.
The small fruit like buds come out every
year then seem to disapear
They don't seem to change colour or size

My friends got one of them from the nursury labled appricot, they planted it and it didnt grow appricot. I ended up grafting yellow and brown nashi onto it and they are growing like crazy, pears are very easy to graft in early spring. Medlar quince and loquat should also graft on okay.
