i have a 3 way easy care apple tree that I want to put in a container. Will it thrive in a pot or is it a ground lover?

Hi Lorna

Most fruit trees thrives very well in the ground and can reach their full potential when done so. But if you have a limited space, planting them in a big pot or grow bag is also not a bad idea until come such a time that they will outgrow their stay in the pot. Dwarf fruit trees are better suited to pot culture than normal size trees. Easier to maintain and less pruning because of their slower growth.

Anyhow, the onus is yours, we are just here to enlighten you a bit.

Happy gardening :-)
