Maxsky starts with ... Hi, I live in Brisbane and am planting some fruit trees in our garden that we have previously cleared of palms and re-soiled. I have ordered a dwarf fig and dwarf lemon but am interested in planting a dwarf mango tree. Does anyone have any tips of the best variety that will grow and that they have had success with? Any other dwarf fruit trees that you would recommend? Thanks so much! | About the Author Maxsky Ferny Grove 5th October 2017 9:41am #UserID: 16999 Posts: 3 View All Maxsky's Edible Fruit Trees |
Waterfall says... In Brisbane you should be able to grow any type of mango you want, best thing to do would be find some you like the taste of the most. I like the KP or Bowen mango which is probably the most popular in Australia. I also have a couple of Thai varieties just to add some variety. Don't get too obsessed with dwarf trees, some of them grow painfully slow. It's easier to just prune a tree to the size you require. | About the Author Waterfall WATERFALL,2233,NSW 9th October 2017 9:55am #UserID: 10026 Posts: 422 View All Waterfall's Edible Fruit Trees |
