Fruit tree i.d.

John Vila starts with ...
Hi, I live in Port Vila Vanuatu. During the past week what was a non-descript tree in my garden has burst out with flowers. The locals tell me it is a favoured fruit tree. Can anyone tell me what it is? No fruit as yet. Cheers John

I'll second the motion and it certainly is that.The big red conical varieties often have the best taste and they can cop a flogging from flying foxes and fruit flies.
