Arron starts with ... Hi. Does anyone know what’s eating my little guava tree. It was fine and untouched a couple of days ago. There are no insects or slugs etc visible, and none of the other fruit trees nearby has been touched - even the cherry guavas. Cheers Arron

Fruitylicious1 says... Hi Arron Grasshoppers maybe the culprit. They have done the same with my guavas. Hard to catch because they are transient ( they come and go). What I did was to wait for them during my days off and stun them with a mixture of chili and garlic juice, once immobile I crushed them with my hands. Then i got sick of waiting so i Covered my guavas with a fine net. After that no more additional nasty looking leaves. Happy gardening :-) | About the Author Fruitylicious1 TAMWORTH,2340,NSW 20th May 2018 2:34pm #UserID: 16885 Posts: 709 View All Fruitylicious1's Edible Fruit Trees |
