Sick Dwarf Tangelo

    1 responses

I live in Melbourne and planted a dwarf tangelo minneola in March this year. I have many other citrus varieties (planted over the last two years) all of which are doing really well. However the tangelo has always looked sick with pale leaves. Today I noticed that the leaves have started curling. We have had a lot of rain since it was planted so I don’t know if that is a problem as the plant wasn’t established enough.

Hi Dea Beau,

Young Tangelo does not like too much water and cold months. You need to check the soil whether it is too wet and ensure the location of the plant has 5-6 hours of direct sun light. Spring is at the doorstep hope your plant will recover soon. No fertilizer until a new grow appear. Cheers.
