Growing avocado in melbourne - Hi. Sorry one more thing that I would add is the fact that my Haas is very susceptible to having new shoots burning on hot days. Anything at or above 35, and its self pruning. I think that growing them in a semi shaded area would not be a bad idea. ..5184 days 20hrs
