Black sapote very pale new leaves - can't help as to why, just letting you know mine are like that too. I had it in the greenhouse during its first winter here. I just thought given it hadn't got a lot of light it went that way. looking forward to seeing hopefully nice new glossy ..11 days 5hrs

Apple identification - I'm no expert, but maybe "five-crown apple" given the base of it has 5 crowns.really no expert though, just taking a potshot!..141 days 5hrs
Apple tree strange growth on limbs - it's really hard to tell. I'm wondering if they might be burr knots, basically it's kind of like the tree trying to grow roots in the wrong place. If you see little nodules coming out then it probably is. It's more common on some roots..141 days 5hrs

Meyer lemon x Tahition Lime (Grafted)

Bspargo's Edible Fruits
Update: 160 days 3hrs

Comments: -

Meyer lemon and tahition lime grafted on one tree. Always kept in a pot (around 65L, should upgrade soon to 100L though i did a root prune a few years back). Lime side seems to have taken over in terms of growth. Hard to keep this tree balanced now.

Dwarf Apple - Akane

Bspargo's Edible Fruits
Update: 160 days 4hrs

Comments: - This variety i think is too high chill for my area. You can see the buds didn't really open vrey well this year and there was no additional height from last year. Cill issues seem to effect the top of the plant more. I'm grafting on lwer chill varieties and will try misting and shading during winter to get more chill.
