Fruit fly resistant fruit trees - some people are saying pomegranate to be resistant. this is known to be untrue. lots of people have pomegranate that get affected, even with their thick skin. I keep all fruits in the mesh bags now as lots of things get affected unfortunately...1503 days 24hrs

Meyer lemon x Tahition Lime (Grafted)

Meyer lemon and tahition lime grafted on one tree. Always kept in a pot (around 65L, should upgrade soon to 100L though i did a root prune a few years back). Lime side seems to have taken over in terms of growth. Hard to keep this tree balanced now.

Comments: - Only had this a very short time and got fruit, tree didn't seem to mind and kept growing. Seems to love water as fruit are developing and a very hot sunny location.

Dwarf Apple - Akane

Comments: - This variety i think is too high chill for my area. You can see the buds didn't really open vrey well this year and there was no additional height from last year. Cill issues seem to effect the top of the plant more. I'm grafting on lwer chill varieties and will try misting and shading during winter to get more chill.

Comments: - PLanted as a seed either 2011 or 2012. Very very slow growing. I kind of ignored it for years after it established. Now hoping we might finally finally be close to fruiting!
