Pecans and cohabitors - Thanks Ccs for the links,
I am now tempted to tempt fate with my trees given that Pecan juglones seem a lesser evil than those attributed to many of its relatives. In about 5 years or so, I may remember to give an update re nearby tree health!

Pecans and cohabitors - Ady, you should be okay with teh mulberry I think. I did read that mulberries are okay under black walnuts- which the pecan is related to - and as the pecan is less alleopathic than walnut...one can but hope! ..
