Plum - Yarrahapinni Blood (Grafted) 10/10![]() Update: 3929 days 10hrs Comments: - A beautiful tree; pink blossom followed by pinkish red leaves in spring which turn dark red then dark green as summer progresses. The fruit is amazing; a dark blood plum, juicy and sweet with some tartness towards the seed. It ripened just in time for Christmas. This tree tried to fruit 6 months aftere I planted it into a no dig garden but I removed them. Fruiting Months December Planted: 2013 Height 3 metres Growing: In the Ground Qty: 1 Fruit Harvest: 40 Fruit Per Year First Fruited: 18 Months from Purchase in Pot Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Summer Pruned By: 25% in Autumn and Winter Pollination: Self Pollination Fertiliser or Organics Used: compost and aged manures When I Fertilise: Winter and Spring Pest Control: fruit fly exclusion bags; cheap but fiddly to put on. They did the job for the first crop but I have since purchased a net. Organic Status:Organic Was this review helpful?
