Based in Fulham Gardens SA i subscribe to front yard farming!! if you cant eat it i dont want to grown it. 2 date i have 34 fruit trees mostly espaliered..they are:

12 apples

4 pears

4 avocados (3 wurtz 1 bacon)

cherry (wishful thinking)

dwarf shatoot mulberry

2 mandarines

1 lime

1 lemon

2 grapes

2 apricots

1 peach

2 plums

1 fig

4 chickens

oh and a top bar beehive


all on an 800 odd sqm block

Feijoa hedge - Ok thanks we havent really got an issue here as far as i know. Il look into that tho. How are they for other pests do u know...3507 days 14hrs
Feijoa hedge - Hi guys, i am about to replace my lilly pilly hedge as its riddled with scale and i dont want to spray it all the time amd it drops too much stuff in my pool . Im thinking of putting in a feijoa and doing the same hedge. Problem is its a narrow space max ..3509 days 9hrs

Wurtz dwarf avocado - Hi there. I took some pics of mine fornyou to compare. Mine are 3 yrs old. The one with the darkest bark gets the the most cold wind. They look a bit shabby at the minute but will go crazy soon. Hope this helps..3532 days 14hrs
What is wrong with my mango seedlings3 - No worries if u show me how!!!! Its a 1 stick wonder at the minute i will def let u know as it develops and u can come chop off the right shoot. Im gonna keep that one quite small. I got it from diggers in may i rkn. ..3534 days 8hrs

. looks awesome, is a challenge to grow, very rewarding, birds wont steal them. i have 3 wurtz and a bacon. bacon is only a year old for cross polination.
