Blue flax-lily (Seedling) 3/10

Comments: - I wanted to start to try different edibles in the garden that didn't need their own area but could be incorporated into the bush area garden. In the middle of 40 acres, sandy dry soil, reliant predominately on rain for water, native edibles were the obvious choice. I've eaten the local blue flax-lily but wanted to try the Daleys' variety as I've been told the taste can differ between area variations. It's only just been planted so hoping to try these within the next twelve months. The leaves aren't as course as the local ones so we'll see. The chooks love the local berries. Will get back to you about the taste difference.
