Coffee - Hi Zach, did you ever discover the answer to your brown/orange on top and green underneath leaves? I have the same issue. I've just put in 6 K7 (arabica variety) trees in the last week and it has been hot - so I'm hoping it's just a bit of transplant sh..2274 days 9hrs

Height 30 Centimetres

Growing: In the Ground

Qty: 6

Sun/Shade: Medium Sun

Water Given in: Spring

Question: I have just planted my six K7 coffee trees in the last 10 days. It has been hot and dry  and windy at Stokers Siding but I've been watering and the trees are reasonably protected from wind. The tops of some of the leaves are an orangy-brown while the underside is still green. Any ideas? Maybe just a bit of transplant shock?

I've only had mine (x2) for a few weeks so limited experience but so far I've had it in ~6hours filtered light, ~2hours direct sunlight only and it seems to be doing ok. We've had a heat wave in Sydney and it's fine so far. Yours might be in too much sun.

Cheers for that Jane. Yes they are getting a bit more sun than yours but not full sun and I'll keep my fingers crossed as only a few leaves are affected. I understand as they increase in size they become more sun tolerant.
