Brazilian cherry and fruit flies - I've got a prolific Brazilian cherry tree with nice sweet cherries (bright red variety) but the fruit flies seem to love the cherries and totally ruin them. Do others have the same problem? I'm in a costal suburb of Sydney. Oddly I have a grumic..1696 days 16hrs

Brazilian cherry and fruit flies - Are you sure about the grumichama? My grumichama fruit in Sydney does get fruit fly larvae but they are very small - I think it's a different variety of fruit fly. Brazilian cherry and fruit flies - Very common for all varieties of Brazilian cherry, orange & black. Once they set cover with insect netting. That's really the only easy solution. Don't worry,they'll get to the grumichama when they're ready...Liked Answer 1693 days 18hrs
