No need to buy spring onions again. Just divide & divide - salads, drought hardy once established - the most picked item in the garden. Grows much better in the ground.

It took forever to grow - then all of a sudden it took off - may have had something to do with my hose starting to leak. Fruit is massive & lovely taste - makes the best lemon cordial.

It has survived a number of heavy frosts & survived - not thrived. Probably needs more water, fertilizer & protection from the dry winds than it gets
