Unfortunately not doing so well, it went great guns till winter last year tripling in size but midway through winter with the frosts all the leaves and new growth died. In spring new shoots started from the base so we cut the tree back to about 15cm above the new growth, the tree then took off again. For the winter we spread sarlon over the top to protect it from the frosts, the tree has again got black leaves and branches and looks like it is dying - not as bad as last winter. Conclusion is that it is too cold here in the Hills Shire of Sydney and we look like losing this tree.
