Comments: - Grows well though slowly. %uFFFDIs also quite resistant to drought hardly ever gets watered under the trees in front garden, %uFFFDnot damaged by the cold. %uFFFDHave another one that has fruited.

Black Sapote - Ricks Late (Grafted) 7/10

Comments: - Has survived 2 Winters but is not actually any larger than when planted, grows a little in Summer then dies back in Winter. %uFFFDAlso inclined to sunburn in hot weather. %uFFFDFlowered but not fruited.

Comments: - Did OK in Summer but died in Mid Winter due to cold, not frost but I guess lack of enough warmth for its metabolism. %uFFFDThis is the second one that died, also a seedling I grew from a fruit.

Comments: - Grew fantastically in Summer, healthy and highly ornamental to about 1.5 m tall and wide, set a lot of fruitt but they were too late to ripen, and the plant did not survive the Winter. %uFFFDI guess Egg Plant and tomato do not survive Winter either. %uFFFDObviously needs a little more length of growing season

Comments: - Grew OK in Summer though was suceptible to leaf burn in hot weather. %uFFFDSurvived the Winter but died in Sept just as it was getting new shoots. %uFFFDSame thing happened to a second one. %uFFFDI guess the soil temperture was too low for the roots although we had no frost (at all).
