Jaffa's Edible Backyard
Macadamia - Bush Nut (Seedling) 8/10 Jaffa's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5756 days 5hrs Comments: - The trees were here when we moved in! They look quite old, and they require no real attention...but they give such a fantastic nut. The black cockatoos have now discovered them but there are plenty for everyone including the rats! Fruiting Months February, March, April, May, June Planted: 2003 Height 5 metres Qty: 5 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Summer Pollination: No Fertiliser or Organics Used: used to get cow poo until we moved the fence to exclude the cows. When I Fertilise: Never Pest Control: We have never done anything except let the chooks rummage underneath. Question: We do occasionally get rotten nuts wheere half the nut goes brown, is this something I need to do something about? Was this review helpful?
