Carambola Starfruit - Kary (Grafted) 10/10

This has been a prolific fruiting season. This is the second year this tree has fruited and  I only have the one tree. The fruit have been fantastic, large, firm and great tasting. The fruit has ripened on the tree, with no need to pick and keep in doors as they have not been attacked by pests ie fruit fly.  I think part of the success has been the relocation of the chook yard that encorporated a number of my fruit trees including the carambola and the higher than normal rainfall we have had on the coast.
