This is not an "oh, my edible garden is so wonderful" tale. Rather a sad tale of struggle. Ever heard of the sugar plant? When I did I was rapt! My husband has trouble with sugar and so it seemed like a great solution. Turned out it was a dismal failure. Adding to the pain was the $10 price tag for each (very little) plant!

I dont know why it failed. Neither seemed to thrive despite good watering and a semi-shade position as prescribed. I would love to try again if anyone has some tips to share - or if  Organic Gardener comes my way!
