About My Edible Backyard

Why Marni Love's Edible Plants

 I currently live in Brisbane and am an environmental consultant by trade (ex horticulture student/nursery worker). My mum lives in kyogle and we both love plants and nature. Whilst I am finding limited time to spend in my garden, I am able to grow a simple range of herbs and veg.My greatest joy is watching my 5 year old boy pluck something from a plant and jam it into his mouth and tell me about how yummy it is, or show Dad saying "look what I grew!".

I recently had a yard transformation and have a fenceline where I intend to grow fruit and produce trees. I am not too much of the growing for show as opposed to use kind of gardener. I havent had much experience in growing these kinds of things, so will be looking to research and source these locally. In addition, my mum is looking to grow something on her few acres over the next little while.

I also have a friend who has recently moved to your area and has also gained some time away from his profession and looking to start up his garden. I have recommended your business as I have heard good things about it.
