Hi. Could you tell us what area you live in so we can tell the climatic conditions for your tropical trees? Thanks.

Quakers Hill is quite cold in winter, isn't it? So I'm surprised that you have star apple, wax jambu, and especially rambutan growing - are you going to grow them in a greenhouse? My star apple and wax jambu died in winter as it's too cold in Carlingford.

Yes it does get really cold here in winter. I love tropical plants, winter is always a pain, i'm moving them in a sheltered position near the house during the night away from frost. During the day I try to get them a lot of sun as possible. I really do hope they wont die. I try to give them as much care and love as possible...hehe....especially my rambutan, high hopes. try growing another star apple and wax jambu again, u might be lucky this time......Carlingford? thats not far from here....
