About My Edible Backyard

Why Plymouthrocks Love's Edible Plants

I live on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. We have an average rainfall of  675mm which mainly falls in winter. Summers are very hot and dry with 6 days over 40degreess and 60days over 30 degrees. Growing vegies can be very challenging. I capture a lot of rainfall and do have expensive town water available. I garden organically and have a 3acre paddock being established as a permaculture garden without any supplementary watering after establishment.
