Raspberries taking over garden

    1 responses

Dilly starts with ...
Raspberries have taken over my garden. Planted them last year and they've run down all my other plants, with the roots going deep into the ground. How can I get rid of them without affecting the fruit trees that they're taking over, namely, a lemon and orange tree.

Wait until the ground is fairly damp and soft and they should pull out easily enough if you grasp them firmly at ground level with gloves on. Spray any suckers in spring with roundup
