Wild plum/Black apple

I have 4 fruit of the Wild plum/Black apple tree that I found. I would like to try to grow them. My question do I leave the seed in the fruit and plant them or do I remove the seed from the fruit and plant them separately. I have read they are hard to grow what would be the most successful method of growing them.

I find they germinate very easily even if left on the surface of the soil they will take off. Have seen seeds from fallen fruit in Lamington Nat. Park sprouting on the walking trails. Remove from fruit and plant as you would anything else.

I'll only add you dont need to dry them out like vege seed, should extract and plant fairly soon.

Picked up some from near Maleny and was interested to try it. They look attractive, are quite hard fruits one was blandly ok the comment was if you were starving you would eat it and the next was downright unpleasant didn't look unripe but maybe it was.
