About My Edible Backyard

we moved here about 20 months ago from inner-city melbourne, so this has been big.  We have a lovely old orchard, with apricots, pears, apples, nectarines and peaches.  There are also two old citrus trees, and we have just put in a lime and a mandarin. The soil here is quite rich, clay but with so many riverstones, almost everywhere we dig. it drives us crazy! We are really enjoying our new life, we have four children and they are all enjoying our lovely vegie patch! the rainfall has been pretty insignificant, but we are allowed to water with town water often, so that's a good thing. anyway that's enough for now, will be in contact again!
