Why Geoff Love's Edible PlantsHi, Well, ive had finger limes growing here in Canberra for about 2 half years. The first season I placed most in full frost for the winter to see how they would do. Turns out it was the best thing for them. Now through their second winter and they are very frost tolerant and hardy. The plants that were sheltered for the first winter are still catching up. Had my first cropping of fruit this year ( 10 - 12 fruit) so hopefully next year I will have. I have given a few of the finger limes to friends as presents in Canberra and they have planted them in various positions and areas and to date all are doing well.
