I have 4 cherry tomatoes that are growing too close. They are already producing tomatoes, they are green still. Do you think it is safe to transplant them now? or should I wait until the finish producing?

I'd probably leave them. If you can fashion a little trellis or even just some canes, maybe guide them apart a bit.

At soil level avoid leaves touching the soil or you'll likely get diseased plants

Thanks Brad. Now I know why my other tomatoes are suffering.... (they get yellow leaves and the stem ends up dead after a week or so)

Well I'll leave as they are, but do you think I should transplant them at some time?
