Help with identification

    4 responses

Hi, wondering if anybody could help with identifying this tree. I recently moved into the property, a few people think it is a mango but it doesn't have that characteristic new red growth (while all the other mango's around do). According the neighbour, she hasn't ever seen fruit on it. One of the photos show some flowers, that's all the whole tree has on it... Now what could it be? Cheers Sean

If you crush the leaves and it smells like mango it's a mango.

Syzygium sp.?
Maybe Wax Jambu, Malay Apple, or Rose Apple. Keep an eye on the flowers for colour.
