amandapstarr starts with ... We moved into our house a year ago and inherited 2 beautiful almond trees which blossomed and produced lots of fruit (although the bats got every single one! Grrr). I noticed another smaller tree in a different location in the yard who's leaves and branch structure looked identical to the almonds, but it didn't blossom last year so I wasn't totally convinced. This year, it is trying to blossom! Lots of buds, but they're not developing well and look stunted. Any ideas why, and what I can do to make it blossom properly next year? (And how to deter bats without nets?!) Thanks everyone.

jakfruit etiquette says... It looks like an ornamental variety, maybe flowering peach or dwarf flowering peach. We have a white one with big flowers, but not as ruffled as yours. Not sure if there is a problem with the ruffling with yours, if they are not even maybe insects or fungus might be causing damage ?? | About the Author jakfruit etiquette gotham city,3000,Vic 4th October 2020 11:43am #UserID: 5133 Posts: 915 View All jakfruit etiquette's Edible Fruit Trees |
