Maybe contact them.
It might depend on where the seed comes from, ie from highlands(cooler) might be better than lowlands(tropical.
Since parts of Melbourne now have a much milder climate and many Nth Qld trees can grow there, Im guessing it could be ok.
You may have to protect young seedlings.
The Cadaghi, another NQ Euc, will grow in Vic.
