Growing avocado in melbourne - I like a challenge and it sounds like I'm off to the right start. The plants arrived from Daleys in perfect condition with nice wet root balls (pots enclosed in plastic) and I was there on delivery day to unwrap and water them. 2 days in the carport ..4512 days 2hrs
Macadamia kernels go soft after drying - I've been picking up macadamias from the ground a couple of times a week and dehusking them immediately and leaving the nuts in a pile on the kitchen bench to dry (as per instructions I googled up).
