Caterpillar id - I'm pretty confident that it's a cup moth caterpillar. It looks a lot like this one: http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/lima/lozogramma.html But it doesn't have the red, so maybe it's a different species...499 days 18hrs
Holiday avocado in australia - $500 yikes! But good to know it is in the country. Hopefully the price will come down over time...527 days 16hrs
Anyone have dwarf macadamia they want to - I don't have any to trade, but I can confirm that my two are slow growing, I've had them for 1.5 years and they have gone from 30cm to a whopping 35cm. One has even flowered but no nuts yet. Around here there are lots in bunnings at the moment. You mig..562 days 21hrs
Unhappy apricot - Thanks for the replies, not sure what happened to my previous reply. I'll try extra water for now, I've also planted some soy beans around the tree to stabilise the soil and hopefully give a little nitrogen boost. If that doesn't help then I'll move it..562 days 22hrs
Unhappy apricot - My newcastle apricot has been looking unhappy all summer and I can't figure out why. The leaves are green and I couldn't see any suspicious blemishes, but they are all rolled up. It is in grey sandy soil on a bit of a slope, it is in part shade with a ..575 days 20hrs

Seems to be doing well, planted in mid winter at about 1m high and flowering already 1.5 months later. The branches droop a lot so I will keep it staked until it has a few good strong branches to hold rest of the plant up.

2017 - Small harvest as expected, replanted in April, hoping for better luck this year.

TRIED BUT DIED

Pandanus - Edible (Seedling) 7/10

Kath5's Edible Fruits
Update: 1147 days 22hrs

Comments: - Lovely fragrant plant but always struggled in Perth winters until it rotted one year. It might have done better if I'd kept it inside in winter and been more careful not to overwater.

Hello, wondering if you would sell me some Pandanus -Edible seeds or seedlings (for planting)?
Kath5 says... [752 days 24hrs ago]
Hi, it died so I don't have any, but I originally bought it from Canning Vale Sunday market, so you might be able to get one there.
