[4747 days 24hrs ago] Marg Phil from Tyalgum here, formerly Woodend. We met a couple of years back when you picked up some plants. I wonder if you remember the container of a product you gave us which I think is a skin moisturizer - no label on it but came across it the other day (still unpacking believe it or not) - about two or three litres, same consistency as sorbolene or similar. Just wanted to start using it if you can remind me. The soaps were fabulous!! Philip & Richard* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |

[5222 days 14hrs ago] Hello Marg, I am planning to plant a Hass and a Fuerte in this Spring. However, some books the mentions that the Fuerte variety is prone to fruit rotting fungus (anthracnose), have you experienced this with your tree?Cam says... [5219 days 1hrs ago] By the way, your avocado trees start fruiting incredibly fast and they look most healthy too. Where did you buy the trees from? [5388 days 3hrs ago] Marg, have you given your tree any particular care? ie protected spot, sunny etc?Margssubtropical1 says... [5350 days 5hrs ago] Margssubtropical1 says... [5350 days 5hrs ago] Nope we planted the tree sedling long before we came up with anything "special" For the first 2-3 years the icecream bean got stunted with the cold, but now everything is bigger around it (like a LOT bigger!) it is protected and is growing very well. 2 guys out in the Melbourne suburbs further out than us came with photos of their fabulous trees last weekend at our open garden Feb 2010 and they are really big and covered in fruit so looks like once one gets past the small plant stage then off she goes.. But we do foliar fertilise and I think they would love lots of potash..* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |
