About My Edible Backyard

Why Nancyjane23 Love's Edible Plants

my orchard is completely in pots which allows me to learn about your austalian climate and the environment in mybackyard as I pass thru this first year living down under. As we only have a small city lot this allows me to add an orchard to my edible garden as well as the veggies,in containers, herbs in their own plot and strawberries under the roses and lillypillies to create the boundaries between our neighbours yard and ours .

Apple trees12 - I have 2 apple trees..planted in containers 2 years ago...they have never dropped their leaves in winter .is this normal? ..5127 days 1hrs
Ants nests in pot plants - I planted penny royal around my clothes umbrella to deter the meat ants from feasting on my toes as I hung the laundry. They pour up through the penny royal plants every time i arrive...doesn't deter them at all...5127 days 1hrs
