Keriberry - I understand it has massive weed potential in Victoria - better check that out. There are lots of other bramble berries that are probably more suited down there...5929 days 1hrs
Wine barrels how to make them last - At my place there was an old barrel with soil in it but it was in serious disrepair (not even close to waterproof). I emptied it out, lined the sides (not the bottom, just the sides) with black plastic, and potted a fig in it. The fig is a couple of metre..5941 days 1hrs
Raspberry6 - Hi Diana, It looks like your raspberries are getting attacked by grasshoppers too? I'm in Brisbane, and I've got little grasshoppers everywhere, but they seem to particularly munch on the leaves of the raspberries. Cheers, Mick..5992 days 23hrs
Raspberry6 - Most definitely - but you need to grow the appropriate ones. The autumn-fruiting varieties (including Heritage) will grow in warm climates; they should be pruned right down to ground level in the winter and they will do fine without much chill...5996 days 22hrs
