Violet_Cactus says... Hi Gardener, I'd say 'yes it can be grown in Melbourne'. Usually when Daleys says 'Frost Tolerance Medium', it means that if you put the plant in a good microclimate, such as near a lot of heat-retaining masonry, and far removed from potential frost-hollows, the plant will do well. The closer to the beach you live the better, because of the mild maritime influence. Most Rubus species are cold-loving in any case, so my bet is that the Keriberry wouldn't be too upset by Melbourne winters. | About the Author VioletCactus1 Melbourne 29th March 2010 9:25pm #UserID: 516 Posts: 349 View All VioletCactus1's Edible Fruit Trees |
