About My Edible Backyard

Why Suewinton1 Love's Edible Plants

I have a young collection of fruit trees.  Meyer lemon, orange mandarin, lemonade and lime. 1 of each. a small clump of bananas bearing their first bunch, ladyfingers. i have a strawberry mango trees that fruits well each season and an avocado tree, very young but in flower. I have a very healthy passionfruit, too many fruit at times, and my strawberries are fuiting now, huge!

I love to spend most weekends and some evenings out in my yard and have recently started my own vege garden wil positive yeilds already.

We have a wet summer, very hot , and a coll winter with cold nights. occasional frosts. I am in the middle of coal country so the soil is rich in places cly bound in others. if you put in the effort you will see results with many nice gardens around town.
