[4850 days 12hrs ago] hi Chak, sorry for late reply. I just took the whole tree out of the pot & trimmed the roots with a sharp knife & as Daleys advised pruned the foliage at the same rate. Then I put new in potting mix & dynamic lifter, repotted & gave some seasol weekly til it got over the shock. Very easy & responded well. Hope this helps* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |
Chilli - Rocoto Tree (Seedling) 10/10![]() Update: 4733 days 18hrs Comments: - It's great to have a chilli that will last longer than 1 season. Tried a green one & it tasted a bit like petrol! Waited for a fully ripe one & it was really good. Not too hot but great flavour & slightly sweet aftertaste - like a hot capsicum. Fantastic chilli as it doesn't overpower other flavours in your cooking. Very happy with this plant & it's extremely productive. Dwarf Mulberry - Red Shahtoot (Grafted)![]() Update: 4766 days 16hrs Comments: - From Daleys this spring. In a bonsai bag & growing well. No fruit has appeared yet. Naranjilla (Seedling) 10/10![]() Update: 4766 days 16hrs Comments: - Bought this in August 2011in a 140mm pot , it was about 200mm high. Now (early Nov2011) it is about 900mm high & very attractive. In a pot in azalea mix, doing very well thanks to all the tips from Daleys customers.(shaded spot) I'll probably get another one to increase pollination but even if it doesn't fruit it's a striking looking plant. Surprised it isn't grown just as a feature plant. Very happy. Lots of flowers over summer but no fruit, has sent up 2 suckers Planted: 2011 Height 1 metres Growing: In a Pot Sun/Shade: Low Sun Water Given in: Spring Pollination: Self Pollination Fertiliser or Organics Used: Dynamic Lifter, Seasol When I Fertilise: When Fruiting and Spring Pest Control: None needed so far Was this review helpful?
