Bought it early 2013 from Daleys. Planted it in a pot but due to excessive watering, the plant was slowly dying. Decided to plant it in the ground in October 2013 and now nearly two month later, it is looking rather pathetic. It still has some green leaves and I am afraid it wouldn't make it in the colder winter months.
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
Two more months and this tree will be one year old altho I don't think it will make it. All the leaves are gone and only the stump, which is about 18 inches, remain. I know the tree is still alive, the stump is green, but dont know how much longer it will last. Hopefully with spring and the summer months coming, it will sprout some leaves :(.

Have grown to a meter tall on 20 Nov 2012.

Excellent growth during the summer season. Am now waiting for the winter months to start pruning. Applied blood and bones on 1.3.13.

Like Fantasy, little clusters of fruits appeared in October 2013. Hopeful of tasting the fruit in summer (early 2014).
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
Looking forward to it fruiting this year. Bore some fruits last year but due to neglect, all eaten by birds. I can already see clusters of grapes forming.

Ate some fruits but most eaten by birds. Fertilised it during spring and have high hopes for all my grape vines'

some leaves eaten by bugs and also turning yellow. have applied white oil
NickL1 says... [4174 days 12hrs ago]
Looks rather pitiful on 20 Nov 2012. Most of the leaves are yellow of have dropped off
NickL1 says... [4070 days 13hrs ago]
Very happy with it. Applied Seasol every two weeks during the summer months and it seems to generate new growth and leaves. Applied blood and bones on dripping line on 1.3.13.

After a difficult start, this tree has settled but it is taking its time.
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
The oldest fruit tree in the garden (2 years old as of oct 2014). After difficult start, it is settling but haven;t grown as much as I thought it will be. I hope this tree will bear some fruits this coming summer. :)
NickL1 says... [3130 days 8hrs ago]
After a slow start this tree is truly established. Havent grown much taller but have more branches and leaves. Also started flowering. Hope to eat the first fruit from this tree this year. Have consistently fertilised during winter and spring.

Steady growth. Leaves filled out the branches. Applied blood and bones on dripping line on 1.3.13.

A year after planting, the tree is branching out. No fruits yet but looking forward to next year.
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
Little to report on this tree. The leaves were gone during winter and now (Oct 14) regrowing. The tree is almost two years old but still skinny as. Is this normal? Would like to see more branches extending.

Doing better than the Late Lane. No fruit this year but hopefully in summer of 2014.
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
Correction, had one fruit in August 14. Was very happy altho the fruit was decidely small compared with those from the supermarket. Nevertheless it was sweet. Like the Late Lane, I am hoping for more fruits altho the tree is small, no more than three feet.

Taking off like the apple tree. Again, hoping for fruits in summer of 2014.
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
Like the apple tree, the nishi lost all its leaves in winter and is only starting to grow back now. Skinny like the apple tree tree. Am hoping it will grow more branches and leaves, maybe even a fruit or two :)

Tasted the first bunch of grapes in June 14. Sweet and seedless. :) Not as robust as the Centennial on its right or Crimson on the left.

Unlike the Fantasy and Centennial variety, there were no little clusters of fruits although all three were planted around the same time. Perhaps i bought this from Bunnings instead of Perry. It grows the fastest of the three though.
NickL1 says... [3801 days 11hrs ago]
This is actually the Centennial variety and NOT Crimson.
NickL1 says... [3487 days 10hrs ago]
Like the Centennial and Fantasy, I am hoping to taste its fruits this summer. Have been fertilising and watering the grape vines regularly.Promise myself to net the vines to prevent the birds from eating the grapes.
