paul starts with ... Does the Myer lemon tree have spikes? I have an old tree on the property I bought 6 years ago, it is never without fruit and has no spikes and I have been told it is a Myer. I looked at Myer lemons at Bunnings the other day and they were covered with long hard spikes I don't want any spikes. | About the Author paul Victoria Point 14th March 2015 3:59pm #UserID: 11455 Posts: 2 View All paul's Edible Fruit Trees |

jakfruit etiquette says... Paul at VP, Young Citrus trees of the same type can be thornier, and so can vigorous new shoots on older trees, but an old Citrus tree wont develop any more thorns over time. If your tree hasnt got thorns now, it doesnt seem like it will get any more. Unless you intend to buy a new tree from Bunnings, I dont see any problem. | About the Author jakfruit etiquette vic 15th March 2015 12:52am #UserID: 5133 Posts: 915 View All jakfruit etiquette's Edible Fruit Trees |
